What is a “quality” home?  We believe in homes and spaces that are beautiful and comfortable while also meeting the needs and expectations of our clients.  We believe in “high performance homes” that stand the test of time, are easy to maintain, and have a light touch on the natural environment.  

Our construction team strives to work with a design build outlook…meaning a commitment to teamwork and communication.  We realize that not all decisions are perfectly made before construction begins.  We flex between the vision team--owners and designers--and the crews in the field who bring the spaces to life.  We seek solutions and balance.  Details can change as we proceed for a variety of reasons…we get that.  We plan for that.  The goal remains singular:  Finishing with excellence.

Preconstruction services set the stage for the overall success of the project. This is when goals are discussed and expectations take form for the entire team. Each project is unique, but great projects are all about “collaboration” at the beginning. Essential inputs begin…and the project begins to take shape. Questions are fielded and solutions start to surface. This is the point where every detail is thoughtfully considered and aspirations are honored. Helping small business owners Get it done…

Let’s be clear. We are custom home builders at heart, but from time to time we are asked to consider small commercial projects.  Often these requests come from repeat clients whom we have served before.  Perhaps we built their custom home or their vacation home in the mountains.  Either way, great clients sometimes need help with small commercial projects and we help if we can.  Our commercial projects have included medical spaces, barns, small apartment buildings on in-fill lots, a horse rescue center, winery projects, small warehouses, general office space, and a variety of other projects over the years.

Helping Commercial Property Owners Get Their Projects Done

Many commercial property owners have projects that we are not prepared to build or are simply too large for us. When appropriate, we can serve as an “owner’s representative” to help them get it done. Owner’s rep services can be useful for both commercial and non-profit organizations. For example, a local soccer organization needed assistance when they wanted to build an indoor soccer facility. We participated in preconstruction services, negotiated and selected the general contractor, and monitored throughout the construction process as needed. In the end, we were able to help the client get the project completed on-time and on-budget. Perhaps we can assist with your project.
